Terms of Use – Cube Galaxy
Effective: 24 October 2026 · version 1.0
In short
- The game is free. Play fair – don't cheat and don't attack the server.
- Your nickname is public. Don't put your name or anything rude or illegal in it.
- In-game credits can only be earned and have no money value.
- Real-money purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. For players under 18 a parent switches them on.
- If something goes wrong, write to us: support@peckainteractive.com.
1. Who runs the game
Miroslav Pecka, sole trader, Company ID (IČO) 71595295, registered address Na sypčině 648/12, 147 00 Praha 4 – Podolí, Czech Republic, brand Pecka Interactive ("we").
The e-mail support@peckainteractive.com is also our point of contact for players and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA). It is read by people, not a bot. We communicate in English and Czech.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to the Cube Galaxy game for iOS and Android and to its web version. By playing you agree to them. If you got the game from the App Store, Apple's Standard EULA also applies. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to play the game for your own use. The game, its graphics, music and code are protected by copyright. You may not:
- copy, sell, modify or take apart (reverse engineer) the game, unless the law expressly allows it,
- cheat – edit saved progress, send made-up results to the server, use bots or modified versions of the game,
- attack the server, flood it or get around its protection.
4. Account and leaderboard
- The game has no login. When it is online, it creates an anonymous account for the leaderboard by itself.
- You can delete the account at any time in the game: Settings → Delete account and data. We delete accounts that have not connected for 24 months.
- Your game progress is stored on your device. If you delete the app, the progress is gone; moving it between devices is not possible yet.
- The leaderboard calculates points on our server. It may sometimes be unavailable (maintenance, outage); the game can be played offline.
5. Nicknames and moderation
Nickname rules: no real name or other personal data, nothing rude, offensive, hateful or illegal, no advertising, and don't pretend to be someone else. Players under 16 build their nickname from offered words.
How we moderate:
- Filter: the server automatically rejects a nickname with an inappropriate word.
- Reports: you can report a nickname on the leaderboard. When 3 different players report it, the server automatically resets it to the default (e.g. Pilot-1234).
- Result checks: the server automatically checks that results are plausible. Implausible results do not count towards points; after 5 unresolved ones the server hides the player from the leaderboard.
- Manual review: a person reviews reported nicknames and suspicious results. We may hide a nickname or reset it to the default, hide a player from the leaderboard and, for serious or repeated breaches, block their access to the leaderboard.
- The game briefly tells you when your nickname was reset or you were hidden.
Disagree with a decision? Write to support@peckainteractive.com and include your player ID from Settings. A person will review the decision and reply.
Reporting illegal content: write to support@peckainteractive.com with:
- which nickname it is,
- why you think it is illegal,
- your name and e-mail,
- and a statement that you are reporting in good faith and that the information is correct to the best of your knowledge.
We confirm receipt, decide without undue delay and tell you what we decided. If we learn of content suggesting a threat to someone's life or safety, we report it to the police.
6. In-game credits
Credits can only be earned by playing. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money and have no money value. If you delete the app, credits are gone together with your progress.
7. Purchases
- For real money we offer power-up packs (used up when you use them) and "No ads" (permanent; restore it in Shop → Restore purchases).
- Purchase and payment are handled by Apple (App Store, seller Apple Distribution International Ltd.) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms. The store shows the price. We never see your payment details.
- Cancellation and refunds follow the store's terms: at Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com, at Google via Google Play. If a purchase does not arrive or does not work, write to us – we will help.
- Players under 18: real-money purchases are switched off. A parent can switch them on in the game's Settings. The phone's parental controls (Apple, Google) apply as well.
- We are responsible for the content and functioning of the game. You have statutory rights for defects in digital content; report defects to us and we will fix them with an update.
8. Changes to the game
We improve and fix the game with updates, and we may tune difficulty, time limits and rewards remotely (game data, not code). We do this only for fair reasons: balancing difficulty, fixing bugs, preventing abuse or a change in the law. Changes are free and these rules apply:
- every sector on Standard difficulty stays winnable without power-ups,
- purchased items keep their function and value,
- points and stars you already have do not change retroactively.
If a change would significantly worsen your access to or use of purchased content, we will tell you in the game beforehand and you may withdraw from the contract for that content within 30 days of the change.
If we were to stop running the game or the leaderboard, we will announce it in the game or on this website at least 30 days in advance.
9. Liability
We run the game with care, but we cannot promise it will always work without errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage caused by slight negligence, for outages of the stores, the internet or devices, or for loss of progress, credits or leaderboard position, which have no money value.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for harm to health, for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
10. Breaking the terms
You can stop playing at any time and delete your account. If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms (cheating, attacks on the server, an illegal nickname), we may restrict or block your access to the leaderboard. You can contest the decision as described in section 5.
11. Changes to the terms
We will announce significant changes to the terms in advance in the game or on this website. If you disagree with a change, you can stop using the game and delete your account. A change of the terms will not reduce the value of what you have already bought.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you usually live.
Out-of-court dispute resolution: if we cannot settle a dispute with you, as a consumer you can turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Central Inspectorate – ADR Department, Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic, adr@coi.gov.cz, coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr. You can file within one year of first raising your claim with us.
